About Jim:
Jim is a retired semi-professional photographer based out of McPherson, Kansas. His photography has been featured in numerous publications, websites, books, newspapers and other venues. He prides himself on making the mundane exciting and bringing awareness to the natural world and the pressures it is under from development. He has been an instructor at Wilderness Photography Workshop since 1985 and has taught at annual, week-long events in Wyoming. He also leads photo outings to his favorite place in Kansas, Maxwell Wildlife Refuge, and has led photographic trips overseas to Tanzania, the Galapagos Islands and Peru.
