In collaboration with Walton Rural Life Center, Newton Public Library is hosting a visit by Cindy Blobaum. Cindy will facilitate a drop-in session of hands-on science activities. She is the author of numerous children's project-based science books, including "Insectigations" and "Geology Rocks!"
Stations will be set up in the children's area of Newton Public Library. Kids will get to: make a buzzing bug and twirling wing; find and keep very small, real fossils; explore gravity through finger balance; and assemble a large dinosaur skeleton puzzle.
Activities are best suited for children ages 5 through 12.
